Denny and Jon know each other for nearly 50 years, so you know this conversation will range from the earliest times to the latest tours for 2023, with brief stops at all of Jon’s works-in-progress. While you may have heard one or two of these stories in the past, even hard-core fans will be telling their friends about something from this episode!
As lead singer of Free (remember All Right Now?), Bad Company, The Law with Kenny Jones, The Firm with Jimmy Page, and Queen with Paul Rodgers, and with his solo albums, Paul Rodgers has consistently delighted rock fans. In this episode, he talks about his career, how he and Cynthia, his wife, met tough health challenges, and his newest album, Midnight Rose.
Denny goes into the void, and through the career of a true English Rock God, Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath. This exclusive interview is where you’ll find the deep story on whatever happened to the Sabbath/Zeppelin jam and the Black Zeppelin album!

Denny’s many professional accomplishments include, in no particular order, being one of the originators of the ‘Classic Rock’ radio broadcasting format; developing NBC’s rock radio network, The Source; producing video programming for MTV, USA, CBS, Comedy Central and Fox; producing landmark radio programming including Legends of Rock (NBC), Rolling Stone Magazine’s Continuous History of Rock and Roll (ABC), Psychedelic Psnack (Westwood One), Scott Muni’s Ticket to Ride and Get the Led Out (United Stations), and countless series and specials; serving as Vice President of EMI Merchandising, where he oversaw merchandising and promotion for The Beatles’ Live at the BBC and Rolling Stones’ VooDoo Lounge, Bridges to Babylon and No Security tours. As he said in a recent interview, “I loved what I did so much, I saved everything associated with it. Never threw anything away.” That collection became the center of his archives, which became both a source for documentary and podcast producers seeking high quality archival content globally, and a delight to serious collectors of the unusual.
